Sorry for replying again its just that I am desperate for advice I can't believe the Welfare Rights will not represent me if I fill in the GL24 form myself. After the doctor's reassurance I was starting to see light at the end of the tunnel but this has just hit me for six.

I have to say that the advice from your local welfare rights is somewhat misleading as there is no way that a tribunal would be convened before they are able to see you and they should know this.

With regard to the GL24, you do not need to specify a representative at this time, one can be added before a tribunal hearing is held, so don't worry about this.

Follow the instructions in our ESA Appeal guide, see

Hello, just a couple more questions please.

I managed to get a cancellation with the welfare rights group and they sent in the GL24 with the sicknote and said they would contact my Dr re the support letter. I then received acknowledgement that I have appealed and that they would pay me the assessment rate ESA.

I have now received a letter stating that they will look at the decision I have appealed against and if I have further evidence which supports the appeal to send it in. Coincidentally the same day I have received the letter of support from my doctor. Do I send a copy of the letter as I think I read somewhere on here not to bother with them looking at it again or do I just wait until I get the tribunal papers and then send it and do I get the welfare organisation to send it as they are dealing with it or do I just send it myself. I know I'm just rambling but I just want to make sure and my computer is playing up so I can't open pdf. files to read about the appeals process.

Any more help much appreciated.

PP

As you now have an advisor these questions should really be dealt with by them :)

The advice regarding not sending additional evidence to the DWP relates to about 18 months ago when very few Decisions were overturned at Reconsideration, this is no longer the case and there can be be value in sending the information in.

Good luck
