My daughter has just had a letter from ATOS asking her to go for a medical nearly 5months after sending in her ESA50 with all information and extra information. She also put the exceptional circumstances but no still as medical and if the last medical/appeal is anything to go by we will be doing it all again. she even sent a letter of support from our doctor.
She is really hit by this again.

everytime she hears from ATOS she goes down bank with her depression. they have been told countless times that every 6months for a medical is naking her worse and all we get is "everyone has a medical" no they dont. people can get through without a medical. if they carry on like this is im sure this is making her feel as if she does not want to be here anymore. i can feel it.

I feel the same. Being ill is like having a full time job! I sent off ESA50 in November 2011 and got another one in the post 2 days ago. I am bereft and was physically sick. It is a constant worry, and this whole system, from what I can gather is making the country more ill!! Getting back to work!...What work? I feel like a beggar....

i agree with you there. my daughter has depression and everything that goes with it. when the letter turned up she had a panic attack and was physicaly sick. being ill is awful as it is and its making her worse. we are trying to find out about why she has been called but been passed from pillar to post all morning and now afternoon. it was mentioned she could have a home vist but they only do them 9/10 times. i am always worried about her

Just had a call from DWP. They told me that if it is a 6 month revision they send out the forms 2 months early! Which means a constant upheaval, worry and deterioration in health. I just want peace... DWP explained to me a review can be either 2 months, 6 months, 1 year or 2 years. Someone out there is making a lot of money out of this! If they abolished medicals..that would save the country more money rather than punishing poor ill people. My thoughts are with you and your daughter. x
