How do you know if you kept ESA was created by subplay
Hello all,

I too my ESA reassessment on the 18th of this month, I had a letter dated the 23rd saying:

Your Claim for Empluyment and Support allowence

We have looed at your claim again following a recent change

Then it goes onto say about my money is going up from April 2012 etc...

On the last page it gives me all my allowence award, saying things like:
Living expenses fo you and your partner
Extra money because of disability income guarantee

Then another section
Limited Capability for work addition

Then Extra money because you are in support group etc...

So I was just wondering if you get a big congratulations letter for passing or does it just continue as before and if anything has changed they will let you know.

Are you in the Support Group at the moment? If yes, then this is likely just the annual letter notifying you of changes to the ESA rates that come into effect in April.

If you were in the WRAG before, then a letter saying you are in the SG, can probably be treated as notice of a successful claim.

As always, if in doubt, contact your local DWP office for an update.

Just to confirm, you should receive a letter regarding any new Decision, although the DWP do seem to be better at sending failure letters than those related to a success.

Ok thankyou, all it was was a letter with all new additional information, a breakdown of my money I will or have been recieving, telling me my money will go up in april 2012, also saying my partner would be going to workfocus interview, it does state on the break down im in the support group. And if anything is wrong I can appeal there decision with a GL24 form

As I said in my previous post, this would appear to be a standard letter informing you of changes to you payments that are scheduled for April, the reference to an appeal is normal for this type of letter.

The only way you will know what is happening with your re-assessment is to contact your local office :)
