am i elegible for ESA ? was created by martin
hi I,m now receiving pension credit as i,ve turned 60. I was receiving IB/income support as i suffer from rheumatoid arthritis,bronciectasis,asthma and other related chest problems , I am paid £137.35 pw.Q.Can i claim ESA ? Need advice ,t y

Hi M,

ESA as with IB, is a "Working Age" benefit.

As it would seem that you are no longer classed as of "Working Age", otherwise you would have been liable to the migration process from IB to ESA, you can not claim ESA as well.
