Telephone call

Hi
I have received another call today from the D.W.P and i told them i dont talk about benefits over the telephone and they said well were calling about doing a form called A2 over the phone,as i said i wont do it on the phone he said we will send you the form to fill in then and return within 3 weeks, can anyone kindley tell me what this is about and why they are asking for this info there is no change in my life etc, i get still income support not on E.S.A yet i get HRC & HRM,just a bit worried to why i am being asked such info? is it for another reason i wonder
any advice would be great

Hi P,

An A2 is a standard review form, sent to claimants to see whether any of the claimant's circumstances have changed.

In your case to review your IS.

It is highly possible that the dept that has sent your A2 form out, are not aware that you are being migrated to ESA.

As you will remain in receipt of your IS, up until you receive a decision on your ESA award, you should fill the A2 in, and return it by the deadline given.

Can you please advise me if i should say on my A2 Review form for income support, in the section where is says other information, should i say i get direct payments from social services or not?, as i dont wont them writting saying we need more information and holding things up

Hi P,

You should include anything in the "other information" section, that you feel may be pertinent to your receipt of IS.
