WRAG without a medical, what does this mean? was created by louise
We have just had a letter this morning saying my husband has been placed in WRAG with no need for a medical - but is this good/bad??
What will happen now, the system is just so complicated!!!

I have had many DSS medicals where I've been treated well and like a human being right to the other end of the scale where the DSS appointed doctor needed reporting for his attitude. Based on the bad experiences I've had has done nothing for my depression and I was dreading having another medical.
I was nothing but totally honest when filling out my ESA form and the immense sense of relief when that envelope came thru' the letterbox was almost priceless.
I fail to see with my disability how I wasn't placed in the support group (I was told verbally that I might get better) oh dear:(
......but I couldn't face going thru an appeals procedure. I did ask for a written explanation and ask for them to look at their decision again, and as a result of that request they extended my period of ESA entitlement from 2 to 3 years.....taking me to 10 months before my official retirement date.
I have already attended the first compulsory 'interview' at my local job centre, and discussions didn't last long. Clearly I'm unable to work, but I (and your husband) cannot be made to work, nor be at risk of losing benefit but he must attend the interviews.
