SSAFA, or the Army Benevolent Fund (if ex army), RAFA (if ex RAF) or RNA if ex RN can also assist if you are experiencing such as financial problems in the interim.

There is help for you out there and one of the relevant caseworkers from either BLESMA or the RBL etc will guide you through the process and represent you if needed. BLESMA being particularly good in this sphere for former HM Forces amputees.
