Filled in DLA renewal at CAB Should I add stuff was created by paula7777
Hello ,
I have filled in my DLA renewal today with the the local CAB person, but when I got home and re read it looks a bit sparse to me No info on pain walking and stuff due to joint pain asssociated with pain was feeling very low with my bipolar this afternoon and was glad to get out of there...
Should I change the no to a yes and add my problems with walking and stuff I currently have high care and low mob , I am worried that it will look strange with 2 lots of hand writing
Help greatly appreciated
this claim runs out in early april and have put off filing in the renewal form
Thanks for any help

This is your claim so you should do what you believe is right for you, I would also add that nobody understands your condition(s) better than you.
I would suggest that you try and contact the CAB person and talk over the changes that you are thinking of making before actually making them, there may be reasons why they have not included the content.
You may also need to consider whether making these changes will influence whether the CAB continues to provide you with assistance.
With regard to the handwriting, just explain that some of of the content was made on your behalf after discussion and that the rest is from yourself.

Gordon thanks , i did mention it at the time but was dismissed.
So if i change it should I add on page 61 that I have added stuff after filling it in with a cab advisor as when I filled it in I was low with my bi polar and was not feeling communicative at the time
does this sound ok??
This is causing me so much anxiety to me sorry for moaning

We can only offer general information about how the system works, but we cannot however offer advice to individuals about a specific benefits problem under any circumstances. To give accurate and reliable advice about a specific benefits problem, we'd need to know a great deal about your own personal circumstances which is not possible in an open forum. To attempt to give advice without all this information and without access to your case papers, together with further in depth discussion on a one-to-one basis, would seriously risk misinforming you.
Please use the forum FAQs, or alternatively the forum search facility where you may already find an answer to your question?
If you cannot find an answer to your enquiry and you need further specific benefits advice, you can download the 12 page guide entitled "Getting help with your benefits" from the other resources section.
