im sorry im finding this forum very confusing as to where to post.

ive just been transferring over from IB to esa and put in the wrag group. i think i should be in the support group. i dont have the strengh to appeal and i have been reading for like 3 hours on this site for information. I would like to know , if anybody out there knows, what happens when wrag finishes, and your not fit to work? would you put on the income related esa? support group or is income support the only option? i ask as this will help in whether i risk appealing or not thanks

.

Hi Karma

I'm not sure why you're finding it difficult to post. If it's a new query just create a new thread with an appropriate subject title. If you've already posted a thread then just stick with that one. If you tag it on to another thread it will confuse moderators and members.

We have an excellent list of Frequently Asked Questions in which we try to cover everything here FAQ plus all our benefits guides on IB, ESA, DLA and appeals, plus lots's more in the members only area Help for Claimants .

Last, but not least is the 'Forum Search' facility. Using the title of this thread Appeals typing it in a search brings up a massive 1,142 results HERE

So you shouldn't need to spend over 3 hours looking for information, it's all in the blue links above. However, we cannot give advice on individual claims because we don't have access to members DWP case files.

Hope the above links help.

Jim

Re consideration
I have just had the dreaded brown envelope posted through my door. I sat and had my lunch before opening it, and much to my surprise have been put in the support group for six months.

Will they send my DWP evidence to me or do I have to request them?

Also is the letter from B&W ESA Appeals page 12/13 ok to use or is there another letter somewhere I can use

Want to try and get ahead for my next round of Atos/DWP paperwork

Dundee

Congratulations

The DWP do not send anything other than the Decision letter by default and not always that :) so you will need to request the other documents. Requesting the forms over the phone seems to have varying results but is usually quicker, and yes, you can use the letter you mention.

If you haven't already done so, have a look at the following FAQ, it explains where everything is in the forum.
