also i have recieved my date for my medical within 3 weeks of returning my ESA50, ive read on here people waiting months for their medical, feel like ive been singled out, maybe its just me being paranoid, so down about all this

Chris Grayling MP one of the DWP ministers recently stated that ATOS were recruiting more Disability Analysts and taking other measures in an attempt to reduce the backlog of claimants waiting Work Capability Assessments and other medicals (available on Hansard).

Perhaps this is now occurring in the area in the area you reside in and things are speeding up somewhat.

One of the other mods may have deleted your previous post as it was all in upper case which causes problems for mods/members who use screen readers (see forum faqs on the left of the screen). Please re-post it in sentence case.

I don't think you can draw any inference, good or bad, from the fact that you have the date for your medical so quickly.

I'm completing my ESA50 and am expecting a medical. When Atos contacted you about the medical did they phone you first or just send a letter.
