Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I haven't yet had my WCA, so I might be wrong - however, I don't think you get a copy of the report on the day, it has to be requested from DWP later. Do you sign the report on the day? I will let you know after my WCA on Wednesday!

Hi Stephen,
As far as I am aware, unless it's changed since last year, you have the medical assessment and you have to request a copy of the report from the DWP, they won't send one automatically. I requested mine over the phone and recieved it with no problem. Just wait a few days following the assessment then give the DWP a call.

Sorry, forgot to mention that you do not sign the report, I have had two assessments and not been asked to sign it. Some of the report is done by the doctor after the assessment, wrong I know, so you cannot sign it. Good job too as they are not always 'accurate'.

If you are referring to the draft letters in the members' area requesting a medical report on the day, I believe the purpose of these letters was that the request (and subsequent refusal) can be presented to an appeal tribunal if necessary.
Atos and the DWP will always refuse to release a medical report to a claimant until a decision has been reached.
