ESA Appeal will I get paid until it is decided was created by soulboy
Awarded no points at the medical, I am going to appeal im awaiting for a copy of the medical report. it says on the letter I may be paid up until my appeal ? and that I may need to send a medical statement ? but they have said they are stopping my ESA/IB on the 16 th April ? Should I mention on the GL24 that I'd like to still be paid until its decided as this could take mths how are we supposed to survive ??

I think you should be paid the assessment rate automatically while awaiting appeal - but it certainly doesn't hurt to tell them that is what you want! You will need to submit doctor's certs until your appeal is decided.

Just to confirm what Mrs H has said, you are entitled to be paid at the ESA Assessment rate while waiting for your appeal, or for 365 days from 16/04, whichever is the sooner.
In addition, you need to provide the DWP with Fit Notes until a Decision is made on your claim, or payment will be suspended.
