Review ? was created by pusscatsmum
Good afternoon,
My CAB representative phoned Jobcentre+ in H/Devon.yesterday to find out what is happening in regards to paperwork confirming being placed in SG following a reconsideration from WRAG via a DM prior to an appeal. Also asked for statement of reasons & score sheet etc. She phoned because despite 2 phone calls from us over last 3 weeks to JC+ in P/Devon. no p'work etc arrived. thus a chivying up by CAB.
Jobcentre+ in H/Devon rang me this morning 13/4/12 at 9.30am.to say. yes I am in SG. but am up for a 'REVIEW'& we should contact JC+ in P/Devon to get any info as they do not hold any p'work in the H JC+.
What is a 'review'? Is this just another rue to say another ESA50 is on the way.
(They have backdated SG to Dec 13th 2011)
So have not been in SG for long & gosh this is such a waste of time & tax payers money if it is another round of ESA before really knowing anything.
Mega thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I am glad that the CAB managed to put a boot up the derriere to get your paperwork.
As far as the 'review' is concerned - like you, I would expect this to mean that another ESA50 is in the pipeline. As you know, the forms tend to get sent out well ahead of time, I suspect you were given a 6 month review date.

Hiya Mrs H, that is what we thought as we were led to believe I had been placed in SG for 6 mnths, hence requiring all p'work incl scoresheet, statement of reasons etc b4 the new ESA50 arrives to see how the DM came to the descision. It is imperative we receive this p'work otherwise we could contradict things. ahh but perhaps that is just what they wish us to do!!!

Pcm, after reading the benefit news section, I agree with you, perhaps we should all send the tax payers letters, and let them know just where the money is really being spent, and where it could be better utilised, i.e. they should be employing a lot more staff at DWP to manage all this utter chaos

Or financially better still, left it as it was with those on IB & to continue with what we were to receive if placed on IB until retirement as was on my p'work from them back in 1999.
It is costing the tax payer £mmm's with all the changes & have admitted to date it has cost more than they thought it would. And they have only really just got started.

Another few question again.
When they do decide to send me yet another ESA form to complete cos the 6 mnths SG ends 13/6/12. so it could arrive any day ??!!!!
Will I have to get sick notes from my GP then after the 13th June or what??!!
What happens in regards to money??
Will they place me then into the assesment phase?
(My initial placement was to WRAG for 18mnths as stated on med form from 13th Dec 2011)
