Hi to everone on the forum. I sent off a right payment review form and included all my reports from hospital specialists and any investigation reports i had. I have got a letter back to say they are writing to my GP for more information. Does this mean there is less likliehood of a medical? cant see what my gp can tell them when i included a report from my specialist which was close to the date on the review papers. what would be the normal timescale of a decision when they get the report from my GP? Thanks for any advice you can give.
Hi,
It is more or less impossible to say whether or not the DWP writing to your GP would result in having a medical assessment or not. Such as the quality of the GP medical report (and response time) of the GP can have a bearing. It maybe wise to ensure your GP is fully up to date with your needs in order he can give a more informed report, but it is still no guarantee you will not be medically assessed.
Again as to timescale it is impossible to forecast.
Pete

Can any one be sent a form to fill out???
Just a bit worried as my mum is 67 and really can do without all the hassle. She has an indefinate award for both components of DLA.
