Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

An ESA113 is used by the DWP to request additional information from your GP and/or Consultants. An example is available belowDoes anyone have any experience of form IB113? ESA 113?

I have, of form IB113 It is sent to a GP Its sent in cases where it is thought the person might not need to undergo a medical assessment, or might be exempt
ESA 113 is the equivalent for ESA
If you think its being sent see your GP to ensure he can answer accurately and if possible, supportively
You can ask them to send it to the GP but I dont think it is a 'right'

As XFACTOR says, the ESA/IB113 form is sent to the claimant's GP when DWP want more information. This can be used as well as, or instead of, a 'medical'.
