Two quick questions

My IB is due for review in June, according to the letter I received after my last medical.

Two questions:

1) The medical was in in December 2009, and I was awarded IB for three years, but as the review that year was due in June, am I right in assuming that because the review was due in June,and it took until December to have a medical that it was backdated to the original date?

2) As it will be a transfer to ESA will I get the two weeks early warning phone call before I get the ESA50?

As I understand it, time is counted from the date the decision was made.

I believe people being transferred from IB do usually get a phone call first. However, transfers are not happening strictly according to review schedule so the call could come at any time.

Actually I assumed the award was for three years, but on the letter it just gives a review date of June 2012. Would they give an award for 2 1/2 years?

Maybe it was dated from the end of your last award period.
