Have you tried Action for ME , they should know if there are any WRO's in your area with a good knowledge of ME.

Hi. I have ME and live near Newcastle. I found two good sources of help in ME NorthEast and Disability North.
These organisations both have welfare rights officers. Someone from Disability North came with me to my DLA appeal so I think it's worth contacting them both to see what they can offer you.
