wrag group first work focused interview was created by bates2n
hi i have recently been placed in the wrag group i have appealed against the decision as i strongly feel i should be placed in the support group . firstly i have requested all the information they have on me i was supprissed by the amount of paper work that i had sent going back since 1994 to go through - but there was nothing in the recent paper work to say how they have taken the decsion to place me in the wrag group.
do i ask for a statement of reason ? will this tell me how they have come to there decsion ? plus i have a work focused interview in the next few weeks i thought as i was appealing and have this i writhing with haveing a letter of acknowlegement about my appeal i thought that they dont bother you untill your apeal has been herd ? many thanks in advance

You can request a SoR, but as you'll see from this afternoon's postings you may struggle to get one.
With regard to the WFI, I'm afraid that appealing to the Support Group does not suspend this requirement, although the JC+ advisor may be willing to defer the interview until an outcome to your appeal is available.

Yes, ask for your statement of reasons - although many of us are finding it difficult to get hold of these at the moment so I wish you luck!
I'm afraid that you do have to undergo the WFIs while appealing, otherwise you could lose the work WRAG part of your money. It is sometimes possible to have these carried out over the phone
Do I have to attend WFIs while I appeal?
