esa appeal was created by bb1
hello
I filled in the esa form using the guides and also sent lots of supporting evidence. I was called for a medical and when I saw the doctor there he was very sympathetic and said he could clearly see that I was unwell and would keep it very brief, which he did. He told me ( and my husband was there to confirm this) that I did not have to worry and he shouldn't really say anything to me but that I needed support and to go home and not worry about it. Well, the dreaded envelope duly arrived and I have been placed in a WRAG! I am so stressed by all this. I have read up about appealing and drafted letter asking for copies of the evidence used as they don't say how many points have scored or why I have been placed in a WRAG. I have tried to find someone to represent me at the appeal but the local welfare rights say they are inundated and can't say they would be definitely available so I don't know what to do. Is this all designed to see how far they can push you?

Please have a look at the following FAQs if you have not already done so.
Is there any risk to challenging a decision?
How long do I have to appeal?
How to submit an appeal
Qualifying for the Support Group
12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)
Do I have to attend WFIs while I appeal?
