Blue Badge. was created by chrissy v
Just a snippet of information to anyone who is renewing their Blue Badge, it has now gone up from £2 to £10 and also you have to send your reward letter that is no longer than a year old, i have had to contact DLA today because county council won,t renew Blue Badge just on renewal dates anymore.

This is the first time it's been increased for nearly 30 years, so an £8.00 increase isn't
bad, considering how much councils now charge for able-bodied motorists to park.
The rise was introduced on January 1st 2012, and some local authorities charge
much more, like £20.00.

Thanks for the reply Jim, i just wanted to make members renewing Blue Badges that things have changed even the application form, i think £10 is very good, just a footnote, you also don,t have to send the money with your application form you have to wait to be contacted,by your local county council

I think that it should be made clear, because not everyone lives in England, that Blue Badges are going to be free for individual applicants in Wales!

And sorry, no I haven't got any room for anyone to move in with me!
