Hi,

I presume you are referring to ESA?

If so, it is not upto the examining Health Care Professional what 'group' you will be placed into (albeit they make recommendations to the DWP). The final decision rests with a DWP Decision maker hence you will be informed by the DWP possibly first by telephone but them in writing.

I believe it is by letter, I was not told immediately after my medical I heard through the post. Hope this helps.
