Waiting game

Do any moderators know if there is a significant delay with hear back from DLA?

Although not ESA I'm waiting to hear back from Warbeck House reference a DLA180 form I sent in on or about the 26th March. I'm like main don't enjoy the waiting game but I don't want to contact them either.

Hi,
It can take circa 11 to 13 weeks in general or even longer particularly if the DWP are awaiting a report from such as your GP or consultant (many are not too timely on returning info to the DWP).
There is no harm in ringing after say 13 weeks to see how things are progressing.

There used to be some value in doing this, whether this is still the case is debatable, bottom line is that its up to the claimant.I was interested in this comment, is this recommended action by B&W?

Firstly thank you for the reply Pete, seems I've got a few more weeks wait yet. Secondly excuse my dreadful grammar, tablets and pain killing patch were kicking in.
