Over 5 months since GL24 went in was created by mangof
And no word at all.
Someone has called the dwp twice on my behalf. The first time we got incorrect information that my appeal had been sent to tribunal. The next time (beginning of May) they confirmed that it hasn't actually be looked at again yet.
5 months seems a long time. Have you heard of other people waiting this long just for the revision stage?
Bit wary of phoning again in case it's seen as hassling them and it goes against me.
I'm appealing to go from WRAG to support.
Thanks.

Hi,
As more and more claimants lodge appeals (and thus cases are reviewed) or simply ask for revisions, the DWP appear to be getting further and further behind hand to the effect a wait in excess of 6 months in certain areas is now becoming commonplace.
There maybe nothing lost in contacting them (preferably in writing so you have an audit trail should it ever be needed) to enquire about your own claim and potential date for completing the review.
