right payment programme....the wait was created by stickman1992
hi to everyone. I had a right payment form that had to be filled in and returned at the start of january. i did this and they received it ok, heard nothing until the end of march when they said they have written to the doctor for more information. Since then nothing! is it normal for things to take this long? are things that bad! has anybody else had this experiance?

Stickman

The Right Payment process typically takes 11-13 weeks to complete, however, the DWP writing to your GP can extend this period, especially if your doctor is tardy in responding.

You can always contact the DLA unit for an update of the process, there should be a phone number on any of the letters you have received from them.

I'm waiting to hear as well sent my form back on or around the 23rd March, sent it via the pre paid envelope so no idea if it got there or even when! I know I know recorded delivery everytime, I just assume as it had to be back by the 3/4/12 I'd had heard if they hadn't received it!

It's been along wait and it seems it goes on for awhile longer yet!

After a sleepiness night worrying about the form going missing enroute I broke my golden rule and phoned the good folks at DLA this morning. Managed to get through after only two rings and spoken to a very pleasant lady. She told me the form had reached them ok and they would had contacted me if it hadn't but as of yet it hadn't even been looked at. I asked how long I could expect to wait and she said it could be awhile longer yet.

So there you go.
