Can you advise meaning of this? was created by smc
Can anyone tell me or point me in the direction as to where I can find out what the following means?
"I have also determined that by reason of their physical and mental condition none of the descriptors set out in Schedule 3 to the ESA Regulations apply."
What is Schedule 3?
Thanks!!

I think this refers to the rules for exceptional circumstances. I'm sure one of the more experienced mod's will correct me if I am wrong!

Actually Schedule 3 refers to the Support Group descriptors.
On the original ESA Regulations 2008 the WRAG descriptors were in Schedule 2 and the SG ones in schedule 3 of the Act.
Unfortunately, when the ESA descriptors were changed in April 2011, the legislation refers to the WRAG as "Schedule 1/Schedule 2" and the SG as "Schedule 2/Schedule 3" which I am sure makes things a lot clearer

As I remember schedule 3 refers to meeting the support group descriptor/s, I'm sure if this is wrong someone will come along and advise.

Thank you!!
I am in middle of filling in my latest ESA50 so was having a read through my paperwork from my transfer last year and noticed this comment and wondered what it meant, not sure why I hadn't noticed it at the time.
Thanks for confirming it is connected to SG descriptors!
