hi its been 6 weeks since my medical will the notification come by letter or phone call its so stressful the wait

I only have experience of DLA (you don't say whether you are waiting for ESA or DLA decision) and every award decision has always been sent to me by post.

have started notifying claimants of their results by phone, however, they are legally required to confirm any Decision in writing to the claimant.It is up to you whether you take any call they make to you, but it may be to your advantage to do so.
