Support allowance was created by madchoc
Hi, Ihad a medical interview and was later notified that I had been put in the work related group, I got 15 points. I am appealing this, as I think that I should be in the support group, but I do not understand how the point scoring works. How many points do you need to get in the support group? I am quite confused.

Entry to the Support Group is not points based,
you need to meet one or more of the descriptos, although some of these do equate to the 15 point scoring descriptors for the WRAG, see
Qualifying for the Support Group
You should also have a look at the following FAQs
Is there any risk to challenging a decision?
How long do I have to appeal?
How to submit an appeal
12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)
Do I have to attend WFIs while I appeal?

Hi thanks for your reply, my problem is a mental health issue, I have submitted an appeal, your site is and has been a great help well worth every penny. How can I prove I have been put in the wrong group. I have asked for an oral hearing as your site suggested.
