My CFS doesn't fit the DWP's definition.

I have an ATOS medical soon. I have been diagnosed with CFS/ME (by three different doctors in a 20 year period) but I only have three of the symptoms listed in the DWP's A to Z of illnesses. I should have four to meet their definition. Will ATOS be ticking off the symptoms and concluding that I don't have CFS? Should I draw attention to this issue at the medical? I will be taking a letter from my GP saying that I am being treated for CFS.

Whilst a diagnosis of your condition(s) can be important to explain why you have day to day problems, ESA tests your abilities to perform a specific set of functions, and it will be against these that you will be evaluated.

Have a look at our ESA guides for a more detailed explanation.

There are a couple of Atos Training Manuals relating to CFS on the following link which would give you an indication of what they are looking for as well
