: hi there new to forum just wee question I am filling in form could I put at end of page 3 illnesses and disabilities that it would be detrimental to my health to be found fit for work hope u can answer my query

Thanks Gordon didn't put it on form wrote lots of pages and stapled them on to form gp says he will wait for them to contact him as in greater Glasgow health board they have been told not to give supporting letters but he will support me all the way have u heard of this now gps hands tied or has anyone else in forum had this where they live.

GPs are not required to provide claimants with medical report or letters of support, some do, some charge for doing so, and an increasing number are refusing to do it at all, relying on the DWP to contact them for the informattion, unfortunately, the DWP do not always make use of their services when making a Decision on a claim.

Thanks once more Gordon for replying to me has been so stressful and so glad subscribed to benefitsandwork work I am on ib and this is the transfer process made me so I'll but for all the support on this site made it feel not the only one going through this nightmare thanks again
