War Pension and DLA

I receive DLA middle rate care and lower rate mobility and want to know if I can claim war pension. My DLA is my only income although my wife claims income support for us both. I was worried if I made a claim for war pension it could affect my DLA and the income support and if I am unsuccessful it could jeopardize my DLA and cause it to be reviewed? It is for similar medical conditions although I want to claim war pension for what happened to me whilst in the army and why I was medically discharged. I have tired to contact RBL and SSAFA and Veterans helpline but they didn't know the answer.

All I can tell you is that DLA is not a means tested benefit. I get DLA even though I have an NHS Ill-Health Retirement Pension.

I claim DLA HRM and MRC and I'm a war pensioner.

When were you M.D.? As this will depend on what scheme you go onto.

I think the issue is the income support because dla is not means tested
