Do I trust the info?

After receiving the info for my Appeal, I rang the Tribunals Service to confirm time limits on returning documents. They told me that as long as I returned the form within 14 days, there is no limit on sending in further supporting evidence. I was told to keep sending in whatever evidence I can get as current waiting times are 44 weeks! They were very nice and helpful, but do I trust this advice?
