As his entitlement to hrm is ceased can he continue to use his blue badge without any problem or it is not allowed or what should he do . Any feedback or info or advice please???

his (friends) hrm stopped 5 months ago and so far he has not reported change of circumstances to blue badge authority because he was not aware of this. but he feels he still needs the badge. should he carry on using it or will he be treated as misusing his badge by not reporting change of circumstance or he should make fresh application if he is entitled to do so. and will application be considered on different basis.
any guideance from anybody please
many thanks

I can only repeat my original post, it is a Change of Circumstances and should be reported.
It may well be that the badge will not be removed, they may still qualify after an assessment by their local authority, but failing to report the change could result in their losing it and being unable to re-qualify.
