Concerns about the medical for agoraphobic

I have agoraphobia and my medical is in three days. The type of agoraphobia that I have is that I cannot be left alone for a period of time at home and I cannot go outside alone at all or I have panic attacks. I am okay to go out with my husband, therefore I can attend the medical as long as he is with me. I just have a few questions...
- Will he be allowed in the same room as me? As I cannot do it if he can't be...
- Will they regard my case as not serious enough as I can get out of the house but only with him? (It's impossible to get a job, whatever decision they make, because he has to be with me all the time.)
- Do I need any evidence with me there? I am worried I do not have enough... I've moved house and doctor's surgery so much, do not have a psychiatrist, I am worried that our new surgery will not have enough records. I do have PDF's of old records from a few years back when I was a child/teen seeing psychiatrists etc, will they help?

I feel anxious and totally unprepared for this!
Thanks for your help and advice.

Yes your husband can accompany you into the assessment, and should be able to stay with you until it is completed.

If you have additional evidence, not included with your ESA50 then you can take this with you to the medical, otherwise, the ATOS "doctor" should have read your ESA50 and any evidence attached to it, prior to seeing you (WCA Handbook 3.1.2). If you do have new evidence, make sure you send a copy to the DWP.

I hope you will understand that I cannot comment on the merits of your claim other than to refer you to the relevant ESA descriptors.

There is no "right" amount of evidence that you need to provide, hopefully what you have included is the right evidence.

Good luck
