Who do I contact to see if ESA has arrived was created by DaPa
The letter I had with the ESA did not have a contact number on it.

That's a first.The letter I had with the ESA did not have a contact number on it.

If the "ESA" that you speak of, means your ESA50 that you have sent to ATOS, see the ATOS website for "contact us" details :
www.atoshealthcare.com/claimants
As you can see, this is the number for DWP enquiry : 0113 230 9175.

The letter from ATOS I received with the ESA 50 only had 0800 0556688 and that was for wanting to know why I had been sent the questionnaire or cannot fill it in by the date specified.

This number : 0113 230 9175. is ATOS, they will not return your ESA50 to the DWP DM until they have carried out your assessment, and made their recommendations on whether you qualify for an award of ESA.
They should be able to tell you that your ESA50 was received O.K. and whether it has been returned to the DWP as above.
If it has been returned to the DWP DM then you would have to ring them.
