atos phone line was created by lizzie_wa
I have been trying to telephone the Atos appointments line to say I cannot attend for a medical next Tuesday at their Assessment Centre a 2 and a half hour bus journey (involving 2 buses plus a taxi) from my home (there is an Assessment Centre just three miles from my home but they seem to want to send me on a long bus journey!!!) However every time I dial the number (o800 2888777)there is a recorded message saying they are unable to take my call due to an emergency), surely they cannot of been having an emergency for the last 3 days!

Hi l,

You should not be required to travel more than 90 minutes each way, and they should try and arrange an appointment at your nearest Assessment Centre, see :

www.atoshealthcare.com/claimants/faq_view/9

Which is the answer to this question when you click on it :

How far am I expected to travel to the assessment centre?

8th link down this page :
