Human Error?

Human Error? was created by Ms.Basset
I received a letter to tell me that I'd been removed from the support group and placed in WRAG after my medical, which I was made to wait more 90 minutes for.
I rang to ask for an appeal form and copy of medical papers and decision. I said that I was confused given that my health is worse now than a year ago when I was transferred straight into support group without a medical.
After a few hours, I received a phone call to say, they'd made a mistake, it was human error and I should not have been moved....I was angry and relieved. This is not what people need when they're genuinely ill.
So I have to say thank you for the advice on this site, as it really helps when the going gets tougher.
THANK YOU benefits and work. :)

At least it is sorted out, although I can't imagine how anxious you must have been when you received the initial result.

It's no excuse, but the DWP is under significant pressure at the moment, I am surprised that we do not see more errors like this.

Well done on challenging the errant re-assessment decision. :cheer:

It seems that they reviewed and changed this very quickly.

Thanks for your positive comments about B&W. :)

It was very quickly rectified indeed? I'm confused as to how quickly considering I expected to go through appeals process, many ( :( and  and :) )emotions in one day.
Thankfully B&W is here and I'm so glad I'm a member and had the use of the advice.
It's priceless at these testing times.

No doubt there will be, though it's a shame after the experience of a medical, then the wait. I'm relieved now, however until the new letter lands I won't relax.
