I'd ask as a favour to all those of us caught up in the recording saga, if you (and anyone else who is trying to get their WCAs recorded) could report on the outcome. Just let us know how easy (or hard) it was to get the assessment recorded and how you found the experience.
I found it easy to get my WCA recorded. I received the original appointment letter in September for date 03/10, phoned ATOS to check about recording as per statement on my ESA50 and was told that no recording equipment had been booked. ATOS said they would cancel the appointment and re-arrange but it could take a few weeks. In the meantime I sent ATOS and DWP the letter asking for the WCA to be recorded from Benefits and Work . A week later got the WCA appointment for today.
