Re Heard Nothing from DWP

Like you I am currently on IB and returned my ESA form on 4 October (after a reminder from Atos!) then received a letter on 12 October inviting me to the dreaded assessment on 31 Oct.
It seems like sod's law - I was hoping to wait longer to hear from them. Good luck, and try not to worry to excess (easier said than done, I know).

Thanks to all those that answered. As I don't want to turn this into a discussion I will be brief. I have decided to leave things well alone and hope that the DWP forget about me lol (fat chance). I am going to try and forget about it as much as possible and get on with life.
Thanks for all the kind sentiments and although I know it's a nerve wracking time for all of us, knowing you are not alone and having this site really helps. So thanks guys.

From you previous posts you do not appear to have been called for a face to faceassessment, if this remains the case, then you cannot be found Fit for Work, you can only be placed in the WRAG or the Support Group.
Best of luck

I haven't had a face to face yet and it's been over 2 months since I sent off the ESA form to Atos, as I am on IB at the moment I was prepared for delays but thought I might have heard something by now. But if they are going to take their time then I am not going to rock the boat.
It's the not knowing that is worse and brown envelopes and unexpected phone calls are not helping. Just feel like I am in limbo at the moment, as I am sure many other people do. Thanks for the reply though.
