Atos medicals

Went for my atos medical when I got there I had met the health care professional befor so she could not do my medical I was sent back to the waiting room for about 2 mins and sent in to see someone else .she didn't seem to know what to ask me as she probably haven't seen my ib50 which I had filled in 3months later got result 6 points should I have been sent home and another appointment made or is this normal procedure I'm in the process of appealing would it be worth putting it in my paperwork thanks

As it appears that you are new to the forum, and just in case that you haven’t already done so, it may help if you read :

It would be O.K. for you to see another ATOS HCP, as long as they were an Approved Disability Analyst (ADA), they should have had a name badge on, and introduced themselves.

They could have been a Dr, Nurse, Midwife, Physiotherapist, or OT, who are all employed by ATOS and then given some training in Disability Analysis.

I think that you mean the ESA50, and not an IB50.

The ATOS HCP, should have had access to, and read your ESA50 and any supporting evidence.

You may wish to request the ESA85 Medical report, from the assessment, this can be done over the phone by ringing the DWP office that is dealing with your ESA, but should be backed up in writing, see :
