DLA Statement from someone who knows you was created by VictoriaF
Many apologies if this is too specific to be answered.
The only person who could fill in the DLA "Statement from someone who knows you" is my Mum (I have no other carer or extra medical backup beyond my GP and OT who I guess they'll ask for evidence anyway. And my OT is on maternity leave).
So, should Mum fill it in or is it better left blank? Especially as I have ME so, I'm wondering if a "statement from Mummy" wouldn't look too good.
Thank you for reading

Hi VF,
It's good to see that you have managed to keep your sense of humour, "statement from Mummy"
Many members have to obtain letters of support from family members, as they are in a similar situation to yourself.
So, yes, it should help. Obviously, if you can also manage to gain further support from your G.P. or other HCP, that should help further.
