i received 30pts and was put in wrag, 15 of those points were for manual dexterity, i once read that if you scored 15pts for a particular you were put in esa, have i misunderstood or has it changed, thank you from killer whale 28.
Hi m08,
To gain entry to The WRAG of ESA, you must score 15 points or more cumulatively across all the WCA activities. Therefore it is possible to score many more than the minimum requirement of 15 points, and still be placed into The WRAG.
To gain entry to The Support Group, you must fulfill any one of a certain list of descriptors.
I think that you may be getting confused, as some of the qualifying Support Group descriptors, are also the ones that score 15 points (maximum points) in the WRAG descriptors.

The first thing to ask is where you are getting the information from?

If this is from the ESA85(A), then these are only recommendations by the ATOS "doctor" that are not binding on the DWP Decision Maker, although it would be unusual for them not to take them asis.
If the information is from a DWP document (e.g. LT54), the it should be repesentative of the Decision.
Whilst some, but not all of the 15 point scores, correspond with Support Group descriptors, both of the Manual Dexterity 15 point descriptors do, so if you have indeed scored 15 points for either 5.a(i) or 5.a(ii) then you should been awarded the Support Group.
This being the case, I would write to the DWP asking them to explain their Decision and pointing out your eligibility for the Support Group based on their scoring.
