Continuation of payment of ESA (CB) after a year

I have been in receipt of ESA (CB) which is due to run out on 28 November this year (though received no notification from Jobcentre+ since May). I am currently in the limited capability for work group where I have been since making my claim and my conditions have worsened over the year. My friend tells me that I am eligible for another year's ESA payments because of this and am wondering if this is true and if so will I have to re-apply?

If your condition has worstened to the point that you believe you meet the Support Group criteria, you can ask for a 'supersession'. This would mean filling in another ESA50 and looking at your claim again. The onus would be on you to provide proof of your claim.

Limited Capability for work addition £34.05
Extra Money because you are in the Support Group
Does this still mean I have to ask for a suppersession?

Hi A,
Reverting back to your original post, where did you get the 28 November from, if it is from your ESA award letter this is not the length of your ESA award.
If you have "Limited Capability for Work", then that means that you are in The WRAG. To be in The SG, you must have "Limited Capability for Work Related Activity".
