First a request, please try not post in capitals it causes problems for members who use screen readersI recently was placed in the wrag group and told in a phone call that this was so and would be in it for a year and would recieve written confirmation in the post,i decided to appeal and have done so,in the meantime i recieved my confirmation letter which i looked through but not thouroughly at the time but did notice 2 dates on the very last page which explained my payments and how employment and support allowance had been worked out and said the amounts on this page apply from* 2 oct 2012 to 26 nov 2012* i have since recieved another esa50 form to fill in and send back to have another medical i queried this at a recent wrag interview and was told i was put on a three month review and this is why i had recieved it but nowhere on this letter does it say i am on a 3 month review it just says as above* and nothing was mentioned in the phone call i recieved,is there anything i can do

I think you might want to check the dates on your letter, as I would expect them to have said 2011, and not 2012!
I am afraid that a 3 month re-assessment period is not unusual for members of the WRAG, there is nothing you can do about this other than to fully participate in the process.
Be aware you should treat this as a completely new assessment, you cannot rely on any of the information information in your previous form being looked at.

Unlike DLA, ESA is an indefinite benefit that can be reasessed at any stage. As Gordon said, it is not uncommon to hear of a 3 month reassessment, this is the soonest they can do. Anything the claimant might be told regarding the length of the award or when they will be reassessed is purely advisory.
The November date on your award letter causes a lot of confusion - this is purely there for DWP system (possibly related to the Christmas bonus) and has no relation to when your benefit will end or you will be reassessed.
Gordon - am I missing something, it is 2012 now and bigbird has recently recieved that letter??

I regularly lose days, and I would probably struggle to tell you what I did last week, let alone last month, obviously its getting worse
