Hi my daughter is 21 years old and she gets dla.she has a very rare genetic order it's called furhmans syndrome , it's abnormalities off the upper and lower limbs she will never walk are be able to work.anyway the last atos medical was in October 2009 .they had one look at my daughter and said we are very sorry for calling you , you shouldn't be here .after that inccident we got a letter saying that my daughter would get dla for indefinite because her condition will never improve .so why have they sent her a questionnaire asking about limited capacity to work .im her carer I do everything for her, washing ,cleaning ,cooking .im very upset over this . I need help to complete filling in the form.

I assume that your daughter is currently on IB? The ESA50 (limited capacity for work questionaire) that you have received will be due to the switching of all claimants from IB to ESA. Unlike IB, no-one is automatically entitled to this without going through the reassessment process regualarly. I understand that it must be a shock if this just dropped through the letterbox! Usually DWP make contact a couple of weeks in advance to tell claimants what is happening.
You will have 4 weeks to get this form completed and submitted. I suggest that you read through the ESA guide on this site and also the FAQs relating the to migration process

Thank you for a very quick reply .she is on IB so she might migrate to ESA is that shy she has the esa50 form to fill in.so this is normal process.

The transfer process started in March 2011 and it is expected that no-one will remain on IB by March 2014. So yes, this is a normal process. Our guides are very helpful and will take you through the application, step by step.
