Re assessment for ESA was created by michelle
Hi I would like some advice, I was assessed in Feb this yr and put in WRAG group after submitting appeal i was reconsidered before going to Tribunal and put in Support group with a dtae of Jan 2013 which was the date for the WRAG. I have however now recieved the form again 50 to complete for another assessment. Not happy bunny. My question is I am due a brain scan and spine, neck scan 1/12/12 and a electro thing for my nerves in leg on 15/12/12.Do I fill in form now with copy of all the letters for scans etc. Or wait, but i do not really expect anything knew from scans. Do you think they might leave me alone if they knew i was worse than when they saw me in Jan? Any advice would be great.

Hi Michelle,

Unlike DLA, ESA is an indefinite award and the Tribunal can only recommend the date for reassessment. This is something that they have started doing only recently and we were wondering whether DWP would be sticking to it. It appears, from what you have said, that they are not :(

The important thing is to get your ESA50 submitted in time, otherwise your ESA can be stopped immediately. Send with it everything you have that supports your claim, especially anything that can be related to the descriptors. You can send in extra supporting evidence later if you need to.
