You can always check to see whether there is a NICE guideline document. In the case of ME/CFS have a look at the followingHi,
I too am in a similar situation. Whereby I would like to send additional info. along with my esa form. Im stuggling to find papers that provide detailed info on m.e./cfs and fibro, and how severely a person can be affected and also how varied the symptoms can be (i.e. not just fatigue and pain). Also needs to be from a reputable place. Can anyone recommend anywhere.
Thanks.

Bro58,
You are a SUPER SUPER STAR.XXXXX(KISSES)
My friend is here with me and has been in floods of tears, i have just showed her your reply and she has only just managed to console herself, as she now realises that there is some hope, if forms are filled out properly.
Fantastic, i will help her write sonething along those lines to D/M. The other stuff about Mark Hoban and Harringtons Year 3 review, was that for info purposes or should that also be quoted to D/M.
Thanks.
Radhika and Friend.
Hi R,
Getting it "right first time" is one of Harrington's recommendations, see : Harrington's Year 3 Report
Mark Hoban did actually state that, I have the exact quote, I will search it out later, and post the source if I find it.

I will make note of this and use these quotes in the covering letter.
Cheers.

Hi R,
Mark Hoban, from BBC News Article 12/10/12.
Extract quote :
" We want to make sure that the appeal process is speeded up but I think one of the important things we need to do is to make sure people do provide all the evidence that's required at the start of the process rather than waiting for the appeal."
From the full BBC article here, (10th Para down) :

As always R, I am simply providing relevant information, it is entirely your choice as to what you may or may not decide to use.

Summertrain,
Please don't forget that although the ilness may be recognised on DWP list you have to show how it eefects you!!!!
So don't forget to get GP to add this in his letter/statement, otherwise it will bear no weight.
Good Luck.

Thanks Radhika, the doc has outlined the difficulties I suffer from CFS/ME in his letter that I enclosed with my ESA50. It's just if I need more evidence to prove how debilitating this condition is that I need to go back to him for.
