Just a quick heads up to those of you (like me) who have been migrated from IB to ESA.
1. If you were paid weekly, this should be taken into account and you should be still paid weekly if you wish. However, the default setting seems to be paid every 2 weeks.. so be prepared/keep an eye on your bank account.
2. If you receive other benefits such as Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Benefit, once you have received confirmation of your ESA migration, make sure you check that the other benefits are being correctly paid.
My local Housing Benefit office incorrectly inputted the new ESA award by adding the Work premium on top of my IB payment (instead of it staying the same transitional amount) and I was left £100 down a month on HB (and they required repayment of "overpayment" of £145 Council tax!). Sorted now after a few phone calls, but best to keep an eye on things.
