esa time again. was created by James2
Hi all, received another esa form today to fill in.Looking through the help available on this site I am pretty confident with my wifes help I can fill it in to the best of our ability.
One thing I was curious about (mainly how a dm would look at it) is this. With the part regarding being able to propel yourself in a wheelchair whether you use one or not,how would a dm view my position?.
I received esa support group due to severe back injuries due to an accident but last year was also diagnosed with alzheimers disease. Now being on a downward slope with this my wife has to accompany me when I go out so even if I was able to use a wheelchair I would still need to be accompanied at all times so are they likely to take the view I could not self propel myself?sorry if it sounds confusing just trying to forsee their point of view.

This is a purely physical test of your ability to use a wheelchair, so the fact that you need to be accompanied is not relevant to the question, although it is to question 15.
