Just a couple of queries, is it just the ESA85a form I ask for and the letter did'nt say when I can expect to be assessed again. Thank you all once again and too anyone going through the process at the moment I wish you the best of luck and hope you all get the same result. Sue

Hi all. Just wanted to say a big thank you to all who run the benefits and work website and forum. Have just found out this morning that I have been successfully transferred from income support through illness to esa support group (I keep reading the letter because I can't believe it as I thought i would have to go to a tribunal). I have used the guides too help and also the M.E associations guide to filling in the ESA form. They only received my form on 7th Nov so only 5 weeks to make a decision.

Hi S,
That's fantastic news. !!!

Thanks for informing us, thank you also for your comments about B&W.
Yes, it would be the ESA85A, however you may wish to stipulate that you wish to know the expected length of your SG award before reassessment, as in some cases the ESA85A simply states "In the longer term" as the prognosis.
3 years is the longest award that we are aware of.
If you wish to know how you gained entry to the SG, you may also wish to stipulate this, if the information is not contained in the ESA85A.
Have a look at my post here. :
