Also, on the letter it says:
"You have asked for the following information:
Clerical and Computer records for:-
Disability Living Allowance"
In my letter I used the guide letter provided on this website and specifically asked for a statement of reasons and the GP medical report via a phone call. Will this information be provided from what they have said in the letter to me?

It's 40 calendar days.I have today received a notification from the Data Protection Officer from DWP that they have received my letter dated 17/12/2012 [sic] on 20/11/2012, and they will give me the information requested within 40 days. Is this 40 working days or 40 ordinary days?

Hopefully, the standard letter should result in all documentation being produced, but as a general comment, documentation requested over the phone does not fall under the rules for a Subject Access Request.
